The Cosmic Blossom collection, the new collaboration between Japanese artist Takashi Murakami and Louis Vuitton. The collection features Murakami’s superflat artwork printed on Louis Vuitton Handbags pieces.

Cosmic Blossom comes in three vibrant colors (Rose, Bleu, and Violet) on leather goods, ready-to-wear and accessories. For leather goods, Louis Vuitton Handbags  has developed an innovative serigraphy technique which gives the pieces a glossy effect and vibrant color. Also, the bags are emblazoned with a heritage LV Bags psignature similar to the one printed in Neverfull bags.

Leather goods pieces in this collection includes a pochette measuring 8.3″ x 5.1″ x 1.6″ priced at US$550 and a tote in two sizes, a PM (19.3″ x 11.4″ x 5.1″) and GM (22.8″ x 13.7″ x 7.1″), US$1240 and US$1480 for the PM and GM respectively.

The collection will be available at Louis Vuitton Bags stores on April 15th 2010.

Meet the Monogram Cheche Bohemian from Louis Vuitton Handbags. Named after the ethos of free spirit and nonconformity Bohemian is a great bag for the modern day traveler.

Bohemian is crafted from an innovative fabric obtained through a complex weaving process to create the black-on-beige Monogrammed jacquard fabric with lurex and fluorescent threads weaved through. The bag features a double interior flat pocket and that’s it, you’re left with a spacious compartment ready to be filled in with your personal effects. Bohemian also has exterior details such as an adjustable strap with the Louis Vuitton Bags signature, a brightly colored luggage tag and leather trimmings made from natural cowhide and soft calfskin leather.

Monogram Cheche Bohemian measures 16.9″ x 13.4″ x 10.2″ and is available in two colors, Blue and Red. Its available at Louis Vuitton Bags stores for US$2430.
