LOUIS VUITTON BAGS REVIEW A KEEPALL 45 BAG

a-keepall-45-bandouliere

Remember my post about Louis Vuitton’s special personalization service, the Mon Monogram? Before when Louis Vuitton just started this, the service was only offered to various VICs to try out, then later on to everyone who wishes to have their own personalized Louis Vuitton Handbags piece.

Until now available only in a limited number of flagship stores worldwide, Mon Monogram will go on-line from 26th January 2010 as part of the brand new PERSONALIZATION section, which also provides details of  Louis Vuitton Bags ’s traditional customization services, including special orders, hot-stamping and painting.

Visitors to the website will be able to click on their choice of up to three initials and vertical or diagonal stripes in a palette of 17 different colours, then simulate how the design they have created – a virtual one-off, given that there are more than 200 million possible combinations – will look on their selected bag, be it the cult Speedy handbag, the historic Keepall travel bag, or the Pégase 55 wheeled cabin case. Beyond the sheer enjoyment of trying out new ideas at a click, the easy-to-use Mon Monogram configurator allows users to save their settings in order to think about their choices for a while or consult a friend by email. It also saves time should they later decide to order their design from a Louis Vuitton Handbags store.

Once they are satisfied with the Mon Monogram bag they have created, two options are available: they can order it on-line in countries with an E-SHOPPING facility on their website (France, Italy, Germany, the UK, the US and Japan), or print out the simulation and take it to a Louis Vuitton store offering the Mon Monogram service, details of which are provided by a convenient store locator. Orders are delivered within eight weeks.

Its very easy to create and order your Mon Monogram online, check out this video I made…

Now here’s the Mon Monogram piece I want. A Keepall 45 Bandouliere with an Ivory/Black vertical stripe. I WANT! I WANT!

JESSICA SIMPSON WITH LOUIS VUITTON DOG CARRIER

jessica-simpson-alexander-mcqueen-purse-louis-vuitton-dog-carrier

So we know how Jessica Simpson loves designer purses. And though we’ve already seen her sport the old-time Alexander McQueen Flapper Satchel and the Louis Vuitton Dog Carrier, it still feels good to see her with a new pretty blue dress, which somehow creates a cool and fresh look on her totality.

It was just recently when we’ve talked about her Alexander McQueen satchel, and this time, though the design of the bag didn’t match her rather plain outfit (unlike what we’ve seen her a few days back with a floral frock), at least the shade tells that it is versatile to be paired with any other colors of outfits.

And also, I think her totality created a classier and a more refined appeal because the too much petal-like and stud detailing on the bag is already striking to be paired with an equally striking dress.

So anyway, about the other bag… do we still need to talk about it? I mean, c’mon, we usually (if not always) see her with that and it seems like she never wants to be away from her dog even for some time. Isn’t that a lucky, spoiled dog? It’s a good thing that Jessica also wants her pet to be in-style, and that truly shows how stylish Jessica is.

LOUIS VUITTON HANDBAGS REVIEW:THE MONOGRAM KALAHARI BAG

louis-vuitton-monogram-epices-kalahari

With its emblematic shape and body friendly curve, the Louis vuitton handbags brings exoticism and irresistibly spices up a fashionable everyday look as their colors are named after famous épices or spices from different regions of the world: the Masala, a mixture of many spices which are mixed into a sauce when used in a dish, the Safran (e. Saffron), world’s most expensive spice made from the stigmas of the crocus flour that gives food a yellow color and exotic flavor, and lastly the Paprika, a spice made from the grinding of dried sweet red or green bell peppers. And also, Kalahari is named after the famous desert in southwestern Africa.

The Louis Vuitton  Kalahari bags are crafted from supple Monogram embossed leather with Ayers snakeskin and metallic leather trimmings and microfiber lining. Each bag features an oversized flap with an adjustable drawstring that has ethnic-inspired resin beads, pompons, and metal eyelets. Inside, there’s a flat internal pocket and one phone pocket for bag organization. Kalahari can be carried comfortably on the shoulder thanks to its metal and resin chain handle.

This louis vuitton purses  comes in two sizes PM (9.8″ x 9″ x 3.9″) and GM (13″ x 11.8″ x 3.5″). GM comes in one color; Masala while PM comes in two colors; Safran and Paprika. The bags are available at Louis Vuitton for approximately $4840 and $5800 for PM and GM respectively

LOUIS VUITTON HANDBAGS REVAMPS ALMA MM FOR STEPHEN SPROUSE

louis-vuitton-alma-mm-roses

The popular Alma MM Roses Bag from Louis Vuitton handbags has been given a twist of Stephen Sprouse’s signature design. Well, although the original Alma MM bags already have a striking color, incorporating Stephen Sprouse’s design all the more shows a 60’s feel to it in a much modern way of course.

It is already expected for it to retail at a hefty $2,610, since the original one is worth just a $100-less than this. LV’s Alma bags are already interesting, and having it as a tribute to Stephen Sprouse makes it even more appealing. It is of course made from discreetly embossed Monogram Vernis leather just as the original, only that it has been revamped with the late artist’s Roses pattern. We’ve already seen this design on other Louis Vuitton handbags, but perhaps it looks like it complemented well on this one as compared to the others.

Golden brass hardware and plain vernis leather trimming completes its overall design. It comes in a double zip opening that would show textile lining with cell phone and patch pockets on the inside. This gives an additional room to its already large 15.1 x 11.2 x 7.3 inches dimension.

This Louis Vuitton Alma MM Roses Bag  is available in Rose Pop, Orange Sunset and Vert Tonic colors, and whichever you choose would surely pull off a really fashionable look. You could simply tote it on a daily basis and even from morning until the after dark since this looks smart and classy for such.

LOUIS VUITTON MONOGRAM FLAGE IPHONE CASE

lv-monogramouflage-case

The Louis Vuitton bags have become insanely popular and with as popular as the iPhone is, they just had to make a shiny new case for it. Did it have to be camouflage though? LV bags always feature chic pretty monograms, but I think camouflage kind of cancels out the chic factor.

This wasn’t on the iPhone Bingo card, but it should have been. Where there’s an extremely coveted gadget, there’ll be an extremely expensive luxury case for it. Louis Vuitton has announced a set of four cases for the iPhone: Monogram Canvas,  Leather one has a belt attachment on it, but all of the cases are pretty inconvenient, because you’ve got to pull the iPhone all the way out to actually use it.

One thing that is going to bother some is this is a sleeve to store your iPhone in. Which means anytime you’d like to use it you’re going to end up having to slip it out.

Being a Louis Vuitton product, I’m afraid this is a bit pricey too, even if it is just two pieces of leather slapped together. It is currently being sold for $280.
