We’ve seen a lot of nice bags in paparazzi photos from the Gossip Girl set, but I can’t help but to be a little disappointed in them so far. The bags they’ve features this season are almost all Spring/Summer 2010 looks that we’ve already seen in stores and on ours friends’ arms! I watch the show partly because I want to see new and interesting styling choices, and using looks that are already available to us regular folk just doesn’t cut it.

Finally, though, the show’s stylists have managed to strap something to Leighton Meester that I can get excited about. Her Reem Acra printed dress isn’t bad either even though it’s clearly a spring look, and the two pieces balance each other nicely.

This LV Bags is undeniably gorgeous, but I guess its pricing tells that this is indeed just for the socialites. It retails for a hefty $2,600 and having this would surely make others drool over it.

Not everyone is in a torrid love affair with Louis Vuitton Handbags seemingly omnipresent monogram, but when the brand’s design minds really hit overdrive, occasionally they find a creative and appropriate use for it that I can’t help but like.
